Yoga for Emotional Wellness


One of yoga’s primary gifts are practices that help us to work with the fluctuations of our minds and emotions.  In this six week series we will utilize asana (poses), pranamaya (breath), chanting, intention and prayer to reduce uncomfortable states and cultivate ease. People contending with anxiety, depression and the effects of daily stress are encouraged to attend this class.  The class is scheduled to meet twice weekly to offer a consistent practice to maximize the potential effects and benefits.
